It was a little difficult to just to buy the medical where I had to get someone on the phone. Otherwise all was good.

I emailed Aegis on 6/3 for assistance with making a claim, and received the following message: "This is to confirm that your email was received, please allow ten business days for new claim notification documents to be processed."
I also attempted to call their customer service number, but the phone rang for over an hour before I had to hang up.
Today is 6/8 and I have yet to hear back from Aegis. I also have yet to submit any documents, and do not have any instruction on how to do so either.

We’re sorry to hear that you found this policy to be “too expensive.” Unfortunately, travel insurance pricing is based on Age & Trip Cost so those rates are only going in one direction for all of us. Should you decide to purchase travel insurance again in the future, please be aware that the plan you chose (Go Ready Choice) is one of the least expensive in the entire industry (particularly for your age bracket). My son had a college final that was scheduled for the day we were leaving. I had to change his flight to adjust for this. The insurance didn’t cover the price change.

At the last minute I decided to extend my trip by five days. I called Aegis to inform them of this, and they immediately said that would be no problem and they would just change the dates of the policy. When I asked how much extra I would have to pay, they said there would be no extra charge at all. I give that service five stars, for sure!!!!

I had booked a cruise on American queen voyages and about three weeks before the the cruise the company went into a chapter 11 bankruptcy.
It will be a while before I get my deposit back, if ever.

I have a medical claim for about $275. My primary is medicar and I have a supplement with Cigna. I know medicare will not cover this expense and I doubt that Cigna will. But the claims department told me that this is a secondary insurance and I must submit to my primary insurance first.

One of the phone numbers for Aegis just rang and rang...no answer. Finally called a different one and able to talk to a real person who was able to help me. From there on was a good experience
