I telephoned before our trip to find out about possible reimbursement for our non-refundable airfare that was included in the plan I bought. The representative couldn't really answer my questions very satisfactorily. She finally gave me an answer about changing dates of the trip up to 24 hours beforehand, but somehow, I didn't feel she really knew this area, and I wasn't confident of her reply.

We could not depart on our trip to Turkey last month, as the Turkish government refused all American tourist entrance.
I sent you proof the above, and proof of our cancellation of the trip.
We have not yet received the refund we requested due to it being no fault of ours that the Turkish government refused all entry about a week prior to our scheduled departure, which continues to the present day.
I would hope this is settled much sooner than the four week time you outline for your review.

Claims websites were not in service so I have not been able to file my claim. I work nights and it is difficult to use the claims hotline. Representatives I spoke with were uninformed about my policy; did not give my any useful information; did not answer my questions; wasted my time on the phone; and contributed to my stress level. Would not recommend.

We will not be filing a claim - because as I had told your representative, WHEN I CALLED PERSONALLY, my husband passed away on July 24th. Fortunately, due to the timing, we received a full refund from Carnival Cruise. Your staff was very helpful and informative and I would recommend your group without hesitation.

I guess they don't watch the news at Global Alert. St John was destroyed by 2 cat 5 hurricanes and they are making us get proof (which I did) that our villa was uninhabitable. We would not have gone anyway because there is no power, electricity, water, cell phone or internet service. I have only been contacted by them once because I filed a complaint with Squaremouth. We have gotten refunds from our hotel for the two nights and our Villa for the two weeks. All we need is reimbursement for airfare and $100.00 deposit at St John Car Rental.
the status update page shows us nothing for maybe a month. No communication !!!
