    Global Alert offered the most reasonable rate for cruise insurance. We were pleased with the policy as it met our needs for medical and evacuation coverage on a cruise ship. I would recommend using Global Alert for your travel coverage.

    Exercised our cancel for any reason option. Have begun claim filing, but need further information about cancelled airfare. So far the process has been easy. Will know more once the claim is finalized. Since our trip was cancelled, we cannot rate any experience during the trip.

    I was unable to go on the trip due to my home being flooded from hurricane Harvey. I have filed a claim & nothing has happened 1 month later.

    They offered a competitive price for the benefits we require. I always check the AM Best rating for any company when I purchase insurance through them, and Global Alert was fine. Our interaction with them was with regard to schedule changes, which they accommodated graciously and efficiently.

    I'm not sure if a claim will be filed. We have not yet received one suitcase from a leg of our trip. We have filled out the paperwork with the airline, but they apparently sent the bag to the wrong airport and are not sending it on. Even if they eventually send it on, we had to replace the bag and clothes, power cords, and other contents during the rest of our trip. Is that covered under our policy?
    Global Alert made it very easy to purchase a reasonably priced policy. Whether they make it easy to make a claim is yet to be determined.

    My only interaction with customer service was in regards to filing a claim and the service professional was extremely helpful, particularly given the current severe weather call volume. I will be filing a claim and hope my experience will be at the same level.
