    Global Alert has answered my questions completely both times I had to call prior to the trip. When our airports were closed and flights cancelled due to Hurricane Harvey, customer service answered my questions, so I could make a claim. When I did not understand a part of the online claim process, a representative stayed on the phone with me until I could complete it on my own. There have been timely updates available to watch the progress of my claim.

    The main problem I encountered was that after I submitted the claim I received no information about its status and could find no information on line. The settlement was fair and not overly long.

    I did not have to use the insurance but wanted the peace of mind of having it if needed. I mainly wanted it for the medical coverage. No problems.
