    Helpfully provided Western Union info to send money after robbery but so many exclusions there was nothing to claim for.

    I have used Global Alert twice
    and Tin Leg twice. Tin Leg is much easier to deal with. This time with Global Alert my flight was cancelled and I was rescheduled the previous day.Well, when I called Global Alert to request a date chsnge you would have thought I was asking the impossible. After speaking to 3 customer service representatives, and put on hold for 20 minutes with the last one, my date was finally changed.

    I absolutely love working with Squaremouth and have used their service several times. I do not like Global Alert and will never purchase this travel insurance. When I called them on the weekend before my trip, it was unclear if my insurance was with Global Alert or TripMate or some other entity. When I called on the weekend ("If you need to make any changes to this policy, please call Global Alert at 800-890-6938") to make a change before my travel that weekend, it was this other group that took my call and said that Global Alert (or TripMate) could not respond until Monday! Which would be after my travel began. So, they are NOT actually available for 24 hr assistance. Squaremouth was very helpful, and I will purchase through them again, but I will not purchase Global Alert. I am in the process of a claim, so I don't know how well they handle a claim.

    We fortunately did not need to use this insurance. But we were happy to have it. We had some concerns about the financial viability of our travel company, so were especially grateful to be able to purchase an insurance product that covered business interruption in the event of default of the tour operator. All went well with our trip, so we didn't need this coverage, but we were relieved to have it.

    I have used your company a couple of times before for my travel health insurance and once for also trip cancellation insurance. Your customer service personnel have always been very courteous, helpful and made the process of getting travel insurance very smooth and easy. I would certainly consider you first in future travels.

    Fortunately, everything went well during our travels and we did not have occasion to file a claim. I am sure in such a situation, your company would have helped us as professionally as you dealt with us while obtaining the insurance.

    I would recommend your company very highly to travellers

    Once you get a live person they direct you to internet. Then you must know date of ALL your trip purchases, i.e., all payments, date of those etc. They have all this info! After all the hoops for an hour, it wasn't worth our $50 claim!
