    It took so long to communicate with sqauremouth insurance then they direct me with HTH. Once director of squaremouth stepped in then all the communication was smooth and fast. HTH were very unprofessional. The sad part is whenever I sent email the agent sent the same email. They do not checked the history..I spend a lot of money on phone cards as they put me on hold then disconnected I requested to call me but didn't get any call.
    I m a reqular traveler this kind of service was very painful.

    I will submit my claim please help me. In that. Thank you for all the help.

    It was easy to contact HTH when we needed a doctor in Oslo, Norway. They explained how to contact the doctor and we would need to file a claim because there were not any doctors available in Oslo that would bill them directly. We did have a problem when we called the doctor's office to find out their hours and to make an appointment. The phone was answered automatically in Norwegian and expected us to respond. We had no idea what was required and pressing "0" did not help. So we went to a local pharmacy for help and they gave us the medication we needed. So it all worked out for us in the end.

    I think that the website could be greatly improved. That is the main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Here are some details.

    The purchaser should be able to sort for just policies that do NOT EXCLUDE pre-existing conditions and only view those policies, as an example.

    I'd appreciate more website information on what dollar amounts I should purchase. For example, how much does it cost to evacuate one from the ship to a hospital....do I need $100K insurance or $500K or $1 million. It was hard to determine how much insurance I needed and various policies offered various dollar amounts of coverage.

    Policies with similar/identical coverage and deductibles should be sorted and displayed next to each other.

    The entire process was just so easy though I did not need to file a claim knowing I was covered was Peace of Mind!

    I was in Nepal, became ill, I contacted HTH and they were very responsive. They made some reasonable requests for information on the first claim which I was able to submit online, That claim has subsequently been paid. The second claim was billed directly to them as the medical provider was pre-approved by HTH. All in all,;fast, responsive, no problems and was reimbursed as I expected.
    It was nice knowing that SquareMouth was there in the background to maintain parity if necessary

    This comment is about their customer service while traveling only. Since no claim was made, I cannot comment on that.

    The issue I had with HTH is that I needed to reach their customer service while abroad, only to find out that they are NOT available 24/7, like every other travel insurance that I've used in the past. I got sick and had questions about the policy to rebook my return because of that. Their 24 hrs line could not help me with my questions -they only provide doctor/hospital locating and translation services-and referred me to customer service, which is only open Mon-Fri. It was Sat though and the flight to be changed was Mon morning, with the time difference equaling Sun Night in the U.S., so I couldn't get my questions answered, my flight rebooked and had to travel risking my health. This is not good and I will not choose them again. 24/7 customer service is extremely important when traveling abroad.
