I’m still awaiting an email back from Trawick to file a claim. Called and was instructed to use their claims website. Filled out all of the information, twice, can’t find me. I emailed them several days ago. They confirmed receipt, but still waiting. Not pleased.

It is annoying to only communicate through email when I needed to explain something to customer service in claims. They did not provide a thorough explanation of the claim amount, and despite me providing them with the detail of my expenses, they made their own assumptions. This is the first time I've ever made a travel insurance claim that was not fully paid. I will avoid Trawick in the future.

I had a trip booked for 4 people. Due to a medical emergency, two of us were not able to take the trip. The two who could not travel had different airfare from the other two who did go. I provided all receipts to the insurance company for reimbursement (including receipts for those who were able to go). They would not reimburse our actual airline tickets cost, instead using an average for all travelers. I tried following up after the initial reimbursement, but I was not able to get anyone to solve the problem or even to talk to customer service live to either explain or find a solution so I eventually gave up. I could understand if I didn't have the actual receipts, but I did and they just ignored it. I would not want to deal with them again.

    Easy purchase
But the proof is when a claim is made and how smooth that process is handled

I got food poisoning and couldn’t board my flight had to be wheelchairs out of the airport I was sick for 8 days but because I didn’t go to doctor on Monday because I was sick they said it was too late to go and have it be acceptable for claim
The gate attendant was not going to let me on the plane after watching me throw up in a plastic bag at the gate
Everything was refunded due to my illness except my hotel that was all I wanted
This is my second useless policy from you
Never again will I use your company last time was Covid
The reason for getting it was if something happened and it did
Who goes through checking in and getting duty free if they didn’t plan to travel
You policy is a lose lose situation

Waiting on them to take next steps with processing claim but so far so good. Used them 5 times prior and like the price and policy terms.

Trawick denied out claim. We could not travel to Israel due to Israel being at War after Hamas attacked Israel. I can't imagine that this claim would be denied. We have not seen our daughter, husband and 6 grandchildren since before Covid. We were extremely anxious to visit and it was with a heavy heart that we needed to cancel. How could this not be a reason to honor our claim. Delta reimbursed 100%. El Al reimbursed 70% and we simply were putting in a claim for the remaining balance that Trawick denied. This is NOT right. Please help.

Day before departure back home one of my ears got stuffed. That day I was doing some sightseeing and noticed it in evening. Next day I had flight back home. I decided to call in morning see if I can file claim but go to doctor at home (flight was afternoon it was no time to do check it at local doctor). So I called customer service I was told that I can’t do it back home. Basically I was told go to local doctor, miss flight and file claim doctor reimbursement and trip reimbursement. It was no any assistance with this insurance and advise made no sense. I got flashback movie The rainmaker when Jackie Lemanczyk was testifying:…all claims must be denied…” I guess insurance business is still as usual back in 60th or 70th.
