I intend to file a claim to recoup what I can for the expenses of the tour and travel, etc. I have not been able to fill out claim information at this point because of health issues but i am trying to gather information to do so.
It was an easy process to purchase the travel insurance but I have not yet tried to file a claim or speak to Detour so I cannot comment on their service or follow through.
