Outstanding service and support. Answered phone quickly when I called. Sounded genuinely concerned about my health. Assured me I would be covered for extra expenses. I received a Zelle reimbursement for medical expenses the next day after I filed.

Generali Global Assistance is slow in responding to claims, and their claim portal has limitations on the size of documents that can be attached. Therefore, I had to send an email to the claims address with the required documents.
I filed my first claim under the Trip Interruption. Because they denied the airfare I lost due to the interruption, I filed the airfare costs under the Trip Cancellation. I filed this 2nd claim one week ago and have heard nothing from Generali.

An outstanding experience online (the instructions were extremely easy to follow), and my one call to customer service was promptly answered by a knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant representative. I will definitely use Generali Global Assistance for my insurance needs in the future.

the website to file a claim is rather difficult. It froze on my, and at one point just stopped accepting an answer. I had to call their customer assistance line to figure out an alternative way to file the claim. It's a lot of work.

Thought I bought a policy that included pre-existing conditions clause. But when my wife didn't fully recover in the normal timeframe from surgery that occurred one month before I bought the policy, Generali said that if she couldn't travel on the date I bought the policy, it negated the pre-existing conditions. How does one buy insurance well ahead of travel dates if health is a potential setback?
