    Cancel for any reason,
Insurance provider denied to honor it for 1 person. Either whole party need to cancel, or none.
    This doesn't make any sense.

We are sorry to hear that the insured was disappointed with a restriction noted in their policy. The following language appears in the TRIP CANCELLATION FOR ANY REASON BENEFIT section on Page 12 of their policy’s Description of Coverage document which they received on their date of purchase:

    Limitations
Please be advised this benefit is not available unless all Insured under your coverage cancel the Trip.

This restriction was likely put into place by the underwriter to prevent cases of fraud. We’re not saying that this insured was attempting to do that, but simply providing them an explanation as to why underwriters usually require this on CFAR claims.

The case number was issued by Broadspire. Case manager assigned was Tiffany Daniel Weems. She initially explained the documents needed to reimburse my sister’s airfare and tour cost. I was told it generally takes 7 days. My case was filed in early May. Nit once have I received a call back nor reimbursement. I’ve called numerous times and spoken to everyone but Tiffany. Each time I was told Tiffany or a supervisor would be in contact. To this day still no follow up. I called the week before my trip and requested the CEO’s contact info. No one was able to provide it. I purchased my insurance through Squaremouth which switched to April, and then to Go Ready and now I’m having to deal with Broadspire! Never again will I deal with any of the so called agencies.

Our developer did find a technical issue that prevented the acknowledgement of this insured’s claim initiation from going through last week. We have corrected that issue & opened two claims for this insured for Trip Delay & Baggage Delay. Apologies to Heather for the slight delay.

As soon as my Son Thiley got sick at the altitude of 13,000 feet I contacted go ready Insurence but there was not any answer. After that I wrote a email and that email bounce back and no response.

I also submitted a claim couple of days ago as instructed but my email bounce back again. I called day before yesterday but office was closed.

Therefore I need action and need my claims resolve. Thank you

We’re not sure what email address this insured attempted emailing, but we haven’t had any issues with our emails & have been receiving over 1,000 every day. While our Sales & Customer Service Call Center is closed on the weekend, we still answer emails over that time. Additionally, our Emergency Call Center is open 24/7/365. This should have been the department the insured contacted. Both phone numbers & emails are included in multiple places in their confirmation email & documentation we provide.

The insured called our Sales/Service call center today & we initiated a claim for them.

I finished uploading the required documents on 6/30 and as of 7/22 I have not received any communication from your company concerning my claim. Taking almost a month is exceeding acceptable resolution of my claim hence the ratings given.

    Review Updated: 10/08/2022

I finally received the check from them after three months+. The time frame and lack of communication were the main complaints I had with this process. I realize that they probably had a flood of claims after the COVID cancellations but they could have had much better communication concerning my claim. Several weeks went by with nothing coming from them and when anything came it would be weeks more before I got another email.

I initiated a claim on the website multiple times but nothing happened so I had to call them. I think the feature on the site is broken

I had no pre-departure contact with go ready prior to departing on the trip.
I guess the ***** is in the details. I purchased a go ready insurance policy for my daughter, her husband and their two children. In checking the policy items, it stated "$2,000 per person, $150 daily limit covered after 6 hour delay." I took that at face value and when their plane was almost 8 hours late, I took advantage of the policy and left two emails and one claim and I heard nothing back from go ready. Eventually, the emails were never sent as the email address was incorrect. I finally called and she reviewed the policy and asked for the "receipts for all their expenses during the delay." I explained to her that the policy did not state that it was for expenses. It was for the delay. She told me I needed to read the fine print of the policy. She then stated snidely that "we don't give out free money." I thought that was why we paid $230 for the policy to do exactly that. I guess at 79 I am still gullible enough to believe what I read. Again, "the details", not what the policy states on the front page. Live and learn.

It’s unfortunate that Judy misunderstood how insurance works & didn’t read the website or description of coverage documentation before or after purchasing the policy. This policy even comes with a 10-day free look period where the insured can receive a 100% refund on the policy if they review it & are unhappy with the coverage for any reason.

Whether it’s car insurance, homeowner’s insurance, medical insurance, or in this case travel insurance, it’s quite customary for the policy to only reimburse for expenses the policyholder incurs due to an insurable situation having occurred. In her daughter’s case, they did incur an insurable situation which was their flight being delayed. However, they did not incur any expenses for the inconvenience & therefore do not have anything to claim.

For what it’s worth, we did receive a call from the insured on February 7th (one day after the policy was purchased) so they could correct a typo in the name they provided. That would’ve been another opportunity to ask any questions they had about coverage.

Absolutely terrible, do not purchase. I submitted a claim and have not received any communication whatsoever in the 1.5 months since I have submitted all my documents. I have not been able to reach anyone in charge if my claim, including managers, even after calling and emailing several times. This is extremely unprofessional. If you want some false reassurance that you're protected when you're not, feel free to purchase this plan. Otherwise, please use another company.
