    I contacted Aegis in reference to a damaged luggage claim and it has been a complete run-around and they do NOT take responsibilty. They want me to contact the Airline for them to resolve the issue.

Please understand it is necessary to provide a copy of the Property Irregularity Report issued by the airline, and its final determination.     I fell and fractured my pelvis in August and had to cancel my trip. Aegis was easy to work with, they sent a claim via email to fill out and then file. I filled out my portion, had the doctor fill out his and filed the claim with Aegis. Within weeks they had responded in the affirmative and ok'd my claim.

    I two different messages about the type of evidence they required. One customer rep said they just needed a letter from the ***. Another said we needed the *** to sign their form. We spent many hours and had to visit our primary care physician twice to complete it. I also wish the company had a way to fill out the paperwork online.

    Filed a cancellation report before embarking over 3 weeks ago and have not heard from them since? Still waiting! Will pursue for a answer shorty.

    Process worked well once I figured out who to call and get the right policy number. It took longer than I expected to get the final claim approved and a check sent (I think it took 4-6 weeks). Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the claim process was.

    The filing procedure was clear and somewhat tedious, but the claims department staff at Zurich were consistently helpful, informative and professional throughout the filing and claim review period. They were also accessible by phone. That facilitated what turned out to be a more comprehensive and drawn out review than we had expected. We are pleased with the outcome though so we offer our special thanks to them.

    My wife and I got badly delayed in our Europe trip because the crowd strike microsoft outage, and had to buy a same day train from Amsterdam to London to catch my bother wedding. Its cost us $900, and insurance isnt covering it because in the small print they list out reasons that they will offer a claim (eg. mechanical breakdown, weather, strike, FAA mandate, etc.) , and they are saying that crowdstrike outage doesn't fall into one of those categories. My wife and I cannot just afford to pay $900. This is wrong. We purchased travel insurance for this exact scenario and they are finding a loophole to wriggle out of it. It is unjust and we feel helpless unless we take this to a legal battle.
