Squaremouth made it easy. Everything arrived via email, and I was able to purchase with Visa card from the comfort of my couch.

We had a pre-trip fiasco where the promoter canceled our themed cruise so while the cruise ship was still sailing our entire reason for going on the cruise (to be with a group) wasn't. The Customer Service Agent was absolutely wonderful helping is change our destination and reworking the policy for us. As luck had it, the cancellation of the themed group portion of the cruise happened less then 1 week after we could have simply canceled the travel insurance. We were grateful we could change destinations and still use the policy when we traveled elsewhere instead.

Very satisfied and fortunately we didn't have any problems throughout our trip. The insurance provided us peace of mind, as we have aging parents, thus the main reason for taking the insurance.

We never had a reason to contact the insurance carrier during the trip.

Before Trip
We did not require any assistance before or after our trip. However our friends who were to travel with us had an urgent medical condition and had to cancel. The company provided a prompt refund of their expenses. We are all very impressed. (Though we missed our friends on the trip.)
