    Before Trip
    I needed proof of insurance to enter Czech Republic. I called and was e-mailed the policy and proof of payment immediately. Also no waiting to speak with a customer service rep.

    Before Trip
    I never contacted the carrier; was pleased with their offering as described on Squaremouth and later verified in the company's documents, and it was easy to sign up.

    During Trip
    We did not need to file claims. During the trip over it appeared we would miss our flight to China due to bad weather, so I consulted the policy summary to find out whether we could claim lodging expenses, etc. Fortunately did not have to use it.

    It was all handled by computer in a business like way and the documentation arrived in a timely fashion.

    During Trip
    Thankfully, I did not need to use either the emergency hotline or other emergency services during the trip. All the flights were good and I remained healthy.
