    We had to file a claim.. I called from Europe several times and often got conflicting information. Now that we have filed a claim, they are telling what I was told was incorrect and not paying claims that I was told were going to be covered. I'm appealing the decision now. But overall, very disappointed and will not use again

    While they ultimately did pay 95% of our claim, the process took way too long and there is no way to speak to anyone with any authority so it’s very frustrating. You submit paperwork they give them self 10 days to review the paperwork and they send you an answer then you ask a question and then it’s another 10 days so we submitted everything in January and we received our payment 2 1/2 months later They also were incredibly nitpicky about a $23 receipt which we had the credit card receipt for but not the original one so yes, we did ultimately get our money but the amount of work it took to get the money in my opinion felt excessive and it could’ve been handled so much quicker if they were willing to give you just one phone call oh and repeated request for phone calls that were promised or ignored

    The policy coverage was verified thru their rep who was very polite.

    The problem with purchasing coverage is for your company to give real time examples like ...we had a person medically evacuated from Aruba to the USA and the cost was approximately xx dollars.

    This info would help us decide amout of insurance coverage to buy. Your representative had no clue.

    Every question was answered and everyone I spoke with during the purchase process was helpful. Now that I’ve filed a claim and answered a question I haven’t heard anything and it’s been several weeks. I’m concerned.

    I purchased my policy 3 weeks after the Gaza war broke out. IMG refused to compensate me for the cancelled return leg of my Tel-Aviv-Chicago R/T ticket. They claimed that since I bought the insurance less than 30 days after the Gaza war broke, I was not covered for trip disruption.

    IMG never alerted me to that strange caveat upon selling me their policy. This exception is probably buried somewhere in the very-very long policy, and I doubt anyone reads this lengthy policy before purchasing travel insurance online. I find their conduct at best unethical, if not a pure scam.

    I will never deal with them again, will tell all my traveling friends to avoid them, and hope you'll take my comment into account. It is a BAD company to do business with.

    My luggage was lost for 7 days, I did not recieve the full amount from you as per the policy. I also have a huge phone bill after calling air canada for may days trying to locate my case. Can I submit a claim for this?

    Some confusion at IMG whether I could purchase a second policy to cover airfare only instead of simply increasing the cost of the original policy, but after several phone calls this was resolved. Reps at IMG were helpful and patient as we worked through it.
