    Seven Corners Inc is apparently the company doing claim processing for John Hancock. Seven Corners has advised me that their current average for claims processing is 130 days. This is not acceptable customer service.

    I can't really provide any valuable feedback as I did not need the travel insurance. Buying it is one thing, actually collecting on a claim is another, as my research of the process indicated. I'm glad I purchase the insurance though, my mother-in-law was hospitalized shortly before we were to leave on the trip and I called to see if cancellation would be covered if necessary. I was told that yes, for sure, with a doctor filling out the necessary paperwork and documentation of refunds or lack thereof we were covered. Fortunately she was released from the hospital and another family member was able to step-in. The other coverage I was worried about was Covid. We did get Covid on the trip (no medical attention was necessary) and fortunately the negative test to get back to the US had been lifted, otherwise we would have been stuck in Iceland for another couple days and would have been filling out paperwork to make a claim.

    I wanted to make date changes because my trip was delayed due to covid, but it took me a number of phone calls and emails to accomplish it. When I called, the person promised that someone would return my call, but it never happened. The policy says that they would reply my email request within 48 hours, but I got it after a week - one day before my trip - which was nerve-racking. This is all by comparison. My wife used a different insurance agency. She also changed her dates for the insurance, and she got it done immediately after she called the agency. So, the pre-departure experience with John Hancock was not good.

    We had an emergency and contacted customer service on 7/3. We spoke with an answering service who told me our call would be returned. We did not receive a call back until 7/5! So much for 24/7 service :(

    I had an emergency I don’t know time do the 24 hour emergency number ever pick up. I only ever got answering services. At the point in time when I did get a person I’ve dropped the call several times and nobody ever called me back. I emailed several people and nobody ever emailed me back. I have submitted my claim and still have not received any type of automatic notification that my claim has been received. Every time I call it takes hours. There are easily five or more business names connected to my insurance policy and everyone just keeps pointing fingers on where to go for different

    It was very difficult to find the right method and phone
    Number of the right people to help me. There were like six different business names and phone numbers listed on multiple websites. It was difficult to get through to the right people during my emergency. I found a gray representative when I came back, Amy, who kept in touch with me the whole time after that and made things happen swiftly
