  • Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Basic

We are currently waiting to hear from Seven corners insurance. Due to the conflict in the Middle East we were stranded for over 36 hours in Kolkata and we made a claim for a little under $300 for the hotel food and Uber ride from the airport. We are hoping that we did it correctly. I am sure they are backlogged due to the astronomical amount of flight cancellations in the last month.

I am hoping it is in process but we haven't received any information, It has only been a week since we submitted our claim. It is hard to do a review when the process isn't complete yet. The test will be if they cover the losses due to the cancelled flights and the extra days spent trying to get back home.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Choice

My trip was Feb 22nd thru March 1st. Due to mechanical issues with Alaska Air my flight was cancelled. Alaska Air could not get me on a flight until Feb24th. (Trip Interruption). I have sent Seven Corners all the neccesary information for my claim. Not sure if the information is being read, but they keep asking for more of the same information. This is very frustrating! Not only was my trip interrupted but on March 1st my luggage did not make it from Kelowna Airport. I did not receive until March 5th.
Please expedite this. I am not sure if I would recommend this, have not had a very good experience.

I love that our coverage was automatically extended due to a flight delay at the end of our trip. Thankfully it was not needed, but good peace of mind nonetheless.

I had to call in to get help on finding just medical and evacuation to complement credit card insurance. The agent was very helpful and it was a very quick thing to do.

I experienced a 2-day flight delay due to mechanical issues and will be filing a claim, I notified Seven Corners at the time and will follow thru with a claim. My call to notify you was answered quickly.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Basic

I have been very disappointed at the handling of my claim. It was a simple airline-initiated missed connection that required a hotel stay. My friends on the same trip who used a different travel insurance broker have already recieved compensation on their claims. After almost 2 weeks, I have yet to get any resolution from Seven Corners.

Not happy with claim denial. First flight was diverted mid-air. Ended up having to purchase a separate return ticket on another airline due to Middle East airspace closures.

Filed claim to recoup cost of return tickets but claim denied to to “Act of War” clause.

Immediately after purchasing insurance I saw I had input names of covered individuals incorrectly. I notified Seven Corners. They quickly made the change.

First, my experience with Squaremouth was absolutely first rate, as always. I have used Squaremouth for my travel insurance needs on many prior occasions, and the insurance agents uniformly are highly knowledgeable, friendly, informative and helpful. They always educate me on my choices and provide all the information to lead me to understand, and select from, my many choices for customized coverage. This process led me to Seven Corners for our recent cruise trip.

I loved the policy options of the Seven Corners policy. I contacted the Seven Corners customer service before booking to confirm a particular coverage question (that I did not have to cover 100% of my non-refundable charges), and then called again to increase the amount of my coverage when I increased the cost of my trip. Each time, the Seven Corners staffers were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Although I fortunately did hot have an need for claim, I was confident that any claim I might have would be handled well.
