We needed assistance during the trip and called the hotline. The rep there was no more knowledgeable than we were on how to gain access to the ship at 2:00a.m. when princess phone lines were closed.

We just filed the claim. The amount of documentation required was daunting. They even asked for a copy of our paid receipt for the travel insurance which surely they have.

Very informative and cooperative even after coming back with questions several times.

During Trip
Did not have to use the insurance or make contact. The other traveler did need medical attention and we did not think to contact Squaremouth for directives from Israel as I had not had to use insurance in the past and did not prepare myself enough before leaving or reading the information on coverage and procedures.

Before Trip
I have taken out travel insurance several times with SquareMouth, and have always had great service. However, I have never needed to make a claim, and until that eventuality it is difficult to assess the individual policies completely, but it is nice to have the service and the cover laid out fully, so that you know what you are buying.

During Trip
Did not have to use any of these services, but I kept the contact details near at hand in case of an emergency.
