The only way to really see if a company is good is if I had to use it. Since I didn't, I can only rate on the service I had while purchasing the policy which is usually good.
I was supposed to get a refund because the cost of my trip was adjusted for a reduced amount. I have yet to see the check after calling and sending an email.

Everything on our trip went well so we didn't have to make a claim. I guess until you make a claim and see how things are handled can you make a real judgement, I would rather not make a claim but also we wouldn't travel without it so until next time we like AXA.
It was just fine. Did not in the end submit medical claim because it turned out to be rather surprisingly fully covered by my back-up insurance to medicare. You did cover about half of my travel loss, but it was what I had bargained for. Would certainly recommend you guys to a friend.

I am still waiting for my claim to be completed for a trip that started on September 2.
I liked being able to compare several different travel insurance companies and their cost and what they each had to offer before making my final choice. It made selecting the right company for me easier. Though I was fortunate because I did not have to use my travel insurance it made me feel much safer traveling to foreign countries because I did not have to worry about medical bills, missed connections, lost luggage, trip cancellations etc. I will use Squaremouth again for my next trip.
