I was able to travel as scheduled to and from the Phil. However while I was in the Phil. I was hospitalized and tried to contact the insurance provider but the reply was that there were may requirements and my request for re scheduling my return trip was not acted upon.

I felt piece of mind traveling internationally right now having this travel insurance plan from AXA. Our travel plans changed prior to departure, and we had to contact customer service to discuss the changes on more than one occasion. Each time, customer service was extremely polite and helpful. Fortunately our travel plans s went s.oothly a day we did not need to make a claim, but I was glad to have our policy in place just in case. The xost was reasonable and worth it. I would choose AXA again. Thank you, AXA!

My claim was filed in a timely manner but I have yet to receive any correspondence or reimbursement. My next step will be small claims court in my state.

The process of filling a claim is too burdensome and uncertain. The person I talked to couldn’t actually help me but pointed me to an automated Web site. The documentation required for an obvious claim is too burdensome. Was told The steps we took to get home despite the airline, which we did to save money overall (Amtrak vs three nights in a hotel) would not be covered bc we didn’t use the airline rebook to get home. But the airline was broken. Makes no sense.
