    Before our 3 week tour of Peru (incl. Machu Picchu) and Argentina, I decided that we needed Travel Insurance – being in our late 60s, medical coverage and trip cancellation were major pieces.

    Spending over 3 weeks, scouring the web – looking at 10s of ‘insurance sales’ sites and reading close to a thousand personal experience reviews, I chose SquareMouth and CSA Travel Protection (Custom Luxe) as my providers. After all that effort, I was barely confident that my choices were full-proof – the sign-up and payment was simple, the choices were hard – no service and no company had perfect satisfactory reviews.

    Well – lo and behold, the day before we were to leave on our tour, my wife took sick with terrible sinus and balance issues, flying and touring at heights was out of the question – we canceled our trip!

    Now what?
    1) We canceled on Thursday,
    2) I downloaded the CSA Travel Protection Claims forms on Friday,
    3) I filled out all the forms and gathered the back-up information over the weekend,
    4) I packaged all the completed forms and materials into a .pdf file which I e-mailed to CSA on Monday @4pm

    Now what?
    At 3pm on Tuesday, I got a call from a CSA Travel Protection Claims Department representative telling me that our FULL claim was approved and that a check would be issued immediately – that is less than 24 hours after my claims’ submission = WOW
    At 1pm on the next Monday, I received my claims check – at 2pm I deposited it in my bank account.

    To say the least – I HIGHLY recommend CSA Travel Protection Insurance and SquareMouth for making this uncomfortable process easy and successful = Thank You!!

    No policy or information received before the trip. Receiving some detailed infromation electronically would add to the confidence that my wife and I were covered. No doubt CSA is a reputable company as other reviews have confirmed. Just need some printed data to take on the trip. Thank you.

    Although i finished a trip to Greece with my daughter. I am still a way from home. That is the reason why i can't continue with the claim. It will be done in the coming week. Thank you for the help so far after my mobile phone disappeared.

    I did not have to make any claim. It was convenient to be able to add the policy directly to the Passbook App on the smartphone.
