Before Trip The carrier found an error in my computation of the loss that actually was greater than what I had claimed and the carrier paid on the larger amount. That indicates an honest company to me. I was impressed.

Claim Process I sent in all the infromation required. They kept sending me junk asking for more information ( they had it all.). They never replied and then closed the case. They still owe me $338.00 What a terribly company. I will never use them again!!!

During Trip No customer service provided or requested during trip. It was on the return trip home that I ran into problems.
Claim Process Typical. Insurance company looks for the tiniest issue to deny claim. They did not have their flight canceled and have to sleep (or not!) in the airport. Because of this experience I will be very wary of ever buying trip insurance again, and recommend the same to my many friends who travel.

During Trip Your CSR Courtney is taking responsibility for answering my question to her after I got back home: "Why was I not able to get through to the emergency 24/7 phone service when I called twice on Sunday evening March 18 (Eastern time) while I was in Cairo having problems with my airline connections?" She called back after three days to report they're still looking into it.
I called twice using Skype from the Cairo airport (between 3 and 4 AM, Cairo time)and both times the number auto-answered but I was kept on hold for 10 mins the first time and 20 minutes the second without any human response.

Before Trip I talked to a customer service representative before deciding which insurance policy was best suited to our needs. The respresentative was extremely informative, patient and helpful. I was very pleased.
During Trip Thankfully, I did not need any services suring our trip.
Claim Process No claims were needed.

Before Trip I was very pleased with the customer care when I purchased this insurance. I have purchased insurance through other companies but foun yours to be a lot cheaper. I will definately contact you in the future to purchase insurance when I travel.
During Trip I did not have to call you during my trip so these questions dont apply

During Trip The insurance coverage provided for $500 in emergency cash. Because of a theft I did try to use this service. It took multiple calls and over 5 hours for the inurance company to discover that funds could not be transferred into that country after all (country regulations). I would expect the company to know this up front, since they are aware of the country(ies) to which you are travelling. Hardly a life threating issue, but an annoyance nevertheless.

Before Trip The documentation arrived quickly and they provided all the contact information I would need if I had to make a claim.
During Trip I didn't have to contact them for anything during the trip.
