Filed claim on 5/3 for a delayed flight which occurred on 5/1 and am STILL AWAITING A RESPONSE from Global Alert as to disposition of claim!!

This was the second trip and claim i filed for cancellation due to medical issues. Global Alert makes getting compensated very tedious and cumbersome. It takes them a long time to review and process a claim. I will not use Global Alert for travel insurance again.

SquareMouth offers an efficient process for selecting trip insurance and in our case with minimal hassle. Since we didn't make a claim, we can't comment on the claim process. But like all insurance it's comforting to know it's there if you need it. As I would use SquareMouth again, I also would recommend it to others.

My husband got very ill just 10 days before our departure. I had to attend the first of our three week trip as it was for work, but we cancelled all my husband's trip and two thirds of mine. So far it has been 3 1/2 weeks and I am still waiting to hear about my claim.

Contacted the 24 hour International # during a trip to Europe for a dental problem. Jonathan was very helpful and researched the contract to determine if dental problems were an included benefit. Although it is likely the cost to resolve the dental problem won't be covered, Jonathan made sure we received the email directing us to initiate a claim.
