So far the entire experience has been great. Having the Insurance gave us a secure feeling and let us concentrate on and enjoy the trip. We will certainly consider Global Alert on future trips.

I wanted to add a few days onto my trip BEFORE I started my trip. Global Alert was difficult to deal with, didn't respond to my email request, Fortunately Squaremouth stepped in and took care of my request.

My experience with Trip Mate who handles the claim processing for Global Alert has been completely terrible. I submitted my claim on 2/3/17. I have gone on line & phoned numerous times to check on the status. The on ;one status information is completely worthless. The comments give no real indication of where the claim is in the process. When I have called & spoken to people I have been told that it was with the supervisor & a check would be processed the following week (3 weeks ago). I have received two letters a week apart requesting additional information after the check was supposedly being cut., I spoke to a really nasty person once. The last person that I spoke to last week took note that my medical treatment was all in the US & would not be covered & failed to document that so they continued to have my claim on hold waiting for medical receipts. I have obviously not received my reimbursement yet over 2 months later. Typical insurance company throwing roadblocks up to making good on the policy/ I will not do business with them again.
