    I tried contacting HTH from Europe and it seemed that I could not get the answers to my questions. I got diagnosed with Covid the day before my return and was trying to find out what the coverage was but no one had answers on the 24 hour line. They gave me a different # to call that I could not reach from Europe. My husband tried to call from the US on my behalf and he could not get answers either.

    Please see copy of the emails below. The original emails contained the attachments requested. I ask for a date change and placed two follow-up calls. Both phone calls said things were in progress. I still have not receive a response to this request. It now past the date of my initial travel plans. Since I haven't received a response I would have a hard time recommending HTH Travel Insurance.

    --This is a request to change the policy's Departure and Return Dates from February 5, 2022 to February 12, 2022 to Leaving May 9, 2022 and returning May 16, 2022. The total cost of the trip has gone up and is now estimated at $5000 total for both myself and Penny who is listed as the second person on the policy. --This is also a request to change the destination. The old destination was Cozumel, Mexico - Palace Resorts. The new destination is Cancun, Mexico - Moon Palace Nizuc resort.

    --Attached is the original confirmation for our stay at Palace Resorts Cozumel, a subsequent change of dates for the Cozumel trip and then a full cancellation of the trip going to Cozumel. The trip has now been changed to Cancun, Mexico, Moon Palace Nizuc resort. The airline tickets were for travel from Orlando, FL to Cancun also had the dates changed from February dates to the May dates. The old confirmation number for Cozumel Palace Resorts was CZ2017098. The new confirmation number for Moon Palace Nizuc is MP2047221.

    --I understand that the total cost of this insurance may go up some as the overall cost was raised by $1400

    My husband and I always use Squaremouth Insurance for all our travels. The website is easy to navigate and we only select those areas that are important to us. We can compare different policies and prices. Of course, we hope never to use the insurance, but it's nice to know that if we need help while traveling, we are OK. It's one less thing to worry about.

    I have been trying to change policy dates and destination for about a month with HTH and still no resolution. I have never encountered this many problems with other travel insurance companies. Needless to say, I will NEVER purchase a policy from them again, even if they cost less than a competitor.

    HTH has great website for policy holders. Was able to print lists of medical facilities in major cities where I was traveling. I was also able to print declarations of insurance for specific countries which showed policy details and covid medical coverage - many countries are requiring theses as part of the documentation for admission. I actually saw travelers denied admission due to incorrect or inadequate documentation. This was in South America. I remained healthy and had no claims so cannot comment on their response in this circumstance.

    I received the wrong forms for my claim. I am not able to make contact with an agent in order to correct this. I am very frustrated !!!

    HTH customer service is overwhelmed on the backend with calls, so exasperatingly long wait times to connect with an agent. However, once connected, the agent was very caring, thorough and helpful. I cannot comment on the claim processing yet.

    My husband had to seek medical care while on our cruise. We have submitted the bill to our insurance company to see what they will pay and then will submit remainder of bill to HTH Travel insurance. I will say that looking at the submission paperwork, there is a lot to get to fill out a claim . I would think a bill with medical costs would be sufficient.
