    I Djodji GBIKPI-BENISSAN and John Tokponwey traveled together recently to Lomé-Togo and were covered by Hancock. Our flight by Ethiopianairlines ET 512 has been delayed twice from March 2 nd to March 12 costing additional expenses and missing one luggage at arrival at JFK.The luggage is still missing but still searched.
    Please advise how to proceed.

    I submitted a claim for a trip delay. We lost 3 days of our vacation due to canceled flights. They never got back to me or responded to my emails.

    I had a great deal of uncertainty regarding taking my trip in the midst of Covid. I called and had email communication with John Hancock several times and had great customer service during each interaction. I have already booked another trip and have selected John Hancock again. Will certainly continue to recommend John Hancock to others in the future as well.

    Wanted clarity on certain coverage points and needed proof of insurance document. I called and got immediate attention and emailed the paperwork I needed. Very pleased with the customer service rep that assisted me.

    Although I just filed my claim, my initial contact makes me feel confident of it’s outcome. Airline travel has become a less than desirable experience. I see more people needing coverage.

    We have been in touch several times. Once d/t a fire where I was staying in Oman. Fire was on 2/11/22. Then I had positive covid test and could not fly so had to change flight plans and was in touch with them again.

    I have just been home since Sunday. I have just received my visa bill and am at the library now to make copies of things and print things from my emails to include with the claim forms. I have every intention of filing my claim as soon as possible. I am also waiting for the police report number from my son-in-law for proof that we did have a fire.

    The customer service was great. The vacation went well and having the insurance gave us peace of mind. Next time I will get a plan with even more coverage during these crazy times just to make sure I have that full peace of mind because I was very anxious before leaving on my trip. I always travel with insurance and the ease of obtaining what I need here is why I will come back again and again.
