    Tin Leg has been very slow to respond and although the claim was submitted almost three weeks ago they have not indicated their position, even though the factual situation was very straightforward and medical certifications have been submitted. The claim involved a medical evacuation in Nepal and required a significant up-front payment. We are quite disappointed in their failure to respond. Based on their lack of response to date I would not recommend this policy.

    The policy was easy to purchase, the terms were clear, and I was able to purchase a deposit amount early and add to it once I know my final needs.

    I chose Tin Leg because it was recommended. It all went vry well until I made a claim for lost baggage which the policy said would be reimbursed to the amount of $500.
    However because in the lost bag the only valuable thing was a Ipad I was refused payment. I had sent all the documents necessary to file that claim

    We've used SquareMouth several times for travel insurance. Their rates and coverage are excellent -- even for the 65+ group -- and their customer service is simply the best. Helpful, courteous and always willing to find a solution.

    At this point, given our satisfaction, SquareMouth is my first choice for travel insurance.
