    I only had to increase my coverage and although I couldn’t do it online for some reason, the woman on the phone from customer service helped me. I needed nothing more.

    The customer service people were amazing in helping me extend our travel dates on our most recent trip. And we rebooked our cruise for 2021 and they also moved our insurance to cover these new dates without issue.

    I decided to shop for travel insurance rather than use my travel agents and saved several hundred dollars. I had peace of mind without costing more than the trip

    When I bought our insurance for a trip to Spain, I really appreciated being able to comparison-shop on squaremouth.com between different insurance companies and different plans. The plan I selected for our family allowed us to pay for the insurance as we paid for the trip. Some companies require full payment for insurance upfront, even before you have paid for the entire trip.
    I also appreciated the chat feature on the squaremouth site which helped me make an insurance selection by answering my questions. Also, I value the ability to keep the various insurance plan information for separate trips in one location.
    I was most concerned about healthcare coverage during European travel. We are on Medicare. I bought primary coverage because it was unclear to me what exactly I needed for coverage for our family and I wanted to make sure that we had coverage in the event of illness. Fortunately our trip was uneventful from a healthcare standpoint, but I still don’t know if I purchased the right insurance.

    We had to cancel trip due to medical issues. Sent all required documents. Still waiting for refund...why does it take so long, it’s been over a month.

    I used TII’s website on the 9th of March to inquire about filing a claim. After no response by yesterday, I called their assistance line and was requested to leave a callback number with an anticipated response within 90 minutes. I still have received no response from either contact method. I realize the Covid-19 outbreak is probably causing unexpected volume of inquiries but I’m not feeling optimistic about a resolution of my claim.
