Communication with the claims people has been totally unacceptable as they have not even acknowledged in writing that they have received my claim which was made 2 weeks ago. Our trip was canceled due to hurricane Milton. Expected to receive much better service than we have so far received.

Due to the hurricane, we had to postpone our trip at the last minute - in fact the morning we were to fly out, but Trawick said it was to late to move our insurance to the future date. Consequently the whole policy was a waste of money.

So far submitting the claim has been pretty straight forward. We'll see how it goes. We had to file for trip interruption 1/2 through due to my husband getting ill and he couldn't rebound on the trip.

On Set 25 I contacted Trawick that I would have to cancel because of illness . I had my daughter help me fill out all my forms and have contacted them multiple times and they are making it quite difficult and asking for more and more paperwork . It’s been over 30 days and I don’t know why they are making this so unpleasant . It’s hard enough being sick . Any help would be helpful . Thank you

Trawick International is one of the worst companies to deal with. They have poor communication skills when dealing with people on the telephone and obviously do not want to pay out a claim. I had Covid and my room mate was very ill the day that we were to leave for the trip. We canceled the trip with the airline and received our money back immediately. We canceled our trip with the person in charge at our Community and she took care of letting the people know with Free Spirit Vacations. I called Trawick on the date that our trip was to depart and let them know that I had Covid and asked what documentation was needed to send them for my refund. They let me know verbally and told me where to go on their website to fill out the paperwork online and everything was completed that day--September 23, 2024. Today is October 25, 2024, and I still have not received any notice of paperwork that Trawick needs or a check for my trip. This company is VERY SLOW and does not want to refund money once you take out insurance with them. My roommate is going through the same problem. Neither one of us has been successful with any of the Customer Service Representatives as to when we can expect our refund. Perhaps you can help, Thank you very much.

Trawick utilizes a third party processor. We filed a claim 2 months ago. They promised us a 15 day turnaround. It took weeks before they contacted us regarding our claims. At that time they buried us with requests for additional information. Our claim is extremely straightforward. Our flight was canceled (easily proven), and our luggage never met up with us on the trip. And was returned to our home 10 days after our trip was completed (again we have submitted proof).
Our claim has for some strange reason been denied. This insurance was a complete ripoff.

To whom it may concern,
I recently traveled to Thailand on September 4, 2024. I suffered food poisoning on 9/9/24 of my trip I was seen at a local hospital in Pattaya and treated for my illness. I presented the insurance paperwork to hospital officials and they said the insurance is not accepted by their hospital.
I paid the cost for the treatment which was 349.00 dollars. When I returned from Thailand I submitted the bill to the insurance carrier, the carrier proceeded to ask me for a picture of my passport and a copy of my itinerary for the trip.
I have submitted both and I am still waiting for their decision as to if they are going to reimburse me . If they do not reimburse me, I will not use your company on my next trip in early next year.
