Above comments are about the company and my interactions. My claim was rejected because the trip was canceled by the group who organized it, which was not covered. I won't hold that against Berkshire Hathaway.

I tried to file a claim for $650.00 for an African safari trip deposit. Untied Airlines cancelled my flight "due to the economic shift in the airline industry." I was turned down. I even submitted a letter from United Airlines stating it was their fault. I use travel insurance every year when I take a group of women on a trip. I have never attempted it until this year when through no fault of my own, I was cancelled out. I knew it was a long shot but I spent three months trying.
