Customer Service agent's arrogant attitude and unkind conversation. We may not be knowledgeable in regards to buying travel insurance, but the agent didn't have to be arrogant and rude in educating us.

We had flight interuotion due to my Grandson accident in USA and we had to come back early. We cam back 12/3/23 instead of 12/10/23.

Easy and simple process to submit my claim. Unfortunately I was sick a lot of the time of my 70 day trip to see my grandchildren. Medical care in Thailand was amazing (good). Still waiting on my compensation for my approximately $550 bills.
Was asked to submit a copy of my passport and my stamp out departure page, which wasn’t in the original instructions. Am in hopes that my check will arrive in time for Christmas.

So easy to purchase and more importantly the policy was easy to understand and the pricing competitive. Never even considered buying travel insurance in the past but will now consider AXA for all future travel.

I bought 2 policies for the same trip and called to cancel one of the two prior to beginning the trip. Both were with AXA and they said tough luck.
I won't use AXA again.

I contacted COVID while in the Yukon (Canada) and went to the ER in Whitehorse. I was given PRAXLOVID and my case was fortunately light. I submitted my hospital and doctor bills to AXA and an RV park bill for 1 day trip delay. After getting the necessary documentation, AXA made a direct deposit of the US dollar equivalent expenses to my bank. Everything was handled professionally and I have no complaints.
