We had to cancel our cruise as my wife had an emergency appendectomy on July 17,2023. I filed a claim with Gererali within 3 days and mailed the claim into them. I was assigned a claim # and told I would hear from someone if they needed more information. Which I dont believe they do as the claimed was filled out fully and signed by the dr. who did the surgery.
I have not heard from Generali Global and find then very hard to reach to speak with a live person in regards to the state of our claim and getting our cruise money back. I am waiting.

While in Spain we contacted the emergency line to determine where we can best receive medical care related to acute sickness. Due to the delay in response from Generali Global, we missed an additional day of our trip. The GG representative we spoke to told us to wait for someone to contact us and they never did.

First, you can only reach robots. So many questions that were not answered. Website kept glitching and was unable to upload documents. It took almost two hours to complete claim which I’m not sure my info was sufficient . It was very easy getting coverage but extremely difficult putting in a claim

Customer service at Squaremouth, in terms of answering detailed policy-related questions, was much better than Generali. Generali reps did not seem well trained to me.

They summarily denied my claim. My trip was cancelled by the cruise company. I had no choice but to cancel my airline reservation. However, Genrerali says that this is not a covered reason. Why not??

Claim was denied with no explanation and reason. Verbally suggested the issue was not trip interrupted. Clearly not the case! Also, have beer waiting over month for second part of claim of stolen items from recover luggage.
