    It was easy to sign up for the travel insurance. No problems. In fact it was so easy that I was afraid I had missed something because it was too easy!!

    Could not talk to a human. Messages said could only apply online. Wanted to know if my problem which was theft or loss was covered. Claim is completed application now awaiting response.

    I was called and asked to submit all my receipts again. When I asked if my type of claim was actually covered I was told no and process ended. I was unable to get someone to answer the phone when I called customer service the first time or I would have never submitted the claim. I was directed to automated answer only. The last person handling the claim was more knowledgeable.

    I got covid during a Globus bus tour and their policy prohibited my husband and I from continuing on the bus tour requiring us to get a train back to Glasgow and pay for 3 nights in a hotel waiting for our original flight. I submitted a claim but now 30 days later I haven't heard anything and can't figure out from their automated phone line how to get a real person on the phone.

    Easy, Peasy, even when I realized at the last minute that I hadn't included some expenses in my trip cost estimate. A phone call was all it took to increase the policy amount and luckily I had a great trip with no complications.
