    I called customer service before we signed up and also on our trip when we caught Covid. Both times we had a short hold time and received complete answers and a willingness to help We didn’t end up altering our flights so didn’t file a claim.

    I have not heard whether I will receive my credit card points back or not. There were a LOT of forms to provide.

    I have completed the claim forms on line but am unable to have my claim accepted because the Royal Darwin Hospital where I was treated did not execute a ‘consent for treatment’ form.

    We submitted 2 claims, for trip interruption and for medical expenses. Both are very straightforward, and well documented. (Even though the documentation process is painful.) NEITHER have moved off of "submitted" status in 12 days. Disappointingly poor service.

    Also, as A NYS resident, we are not required to submit anything re: health insurance. And yet, the form would NOT complete/submit without that information.

    We have never purchased trip insurance before but it was great to have and allowed us to pre purchase hotel rooms and felt confident renting cars from non corporate entities. Highly recommended.

    So far, all the representative would tell me is that "life-threatening illness and level 3 RECONSIDER TRAVEL advisory from the US State Department are not reasons to cancel a portion of my trip. For real?????

    There is no live customer service support. When I called the customer service number for help in filing a claim I was redirected to the online website. This was disappointing and unsatisfactory.

    They asked me to prove the cause of a delay in my travel, in the face of clear evidence that it was delayed (as the airline put me up for a night due to the interrupted service). But they asked me to get in touch with the airline to get the exact cause of the delay. As a global travel insurance company, they have far more access to that information than I do. The fine print will of course get your claim denied.
