    The question about required coverage amount was promptly answered by online customer service in a complete and easily understandable manner. Purchase of the policy was quick and easy and documentation easily reviewable prior to purchase.

    It was a little difficult to come to a decision on the claim. My outbound flight to Tokyo was 5 1/2 hours late and the connection was missed without other options until the next day. The Tin Leg agent wanted all sorts of proof, like new itinerary from the rebooking (the airline put us in a hotel and provided transport and re-ticketing on the next available flight, but no paperwork), revised boarding passes, and hotel receipts. The hotel in Singapore was prepaid with no cancellation refund for short notice cancellation. My claim was for 1 missed night. It took a few emails and a couple of calls to come to resolution. I've had better experiences from other travel companies for larger claims.

    As a senior citizen (soon to be 80) and my first claim I found it hard to understand' I had many phone calls with your representative and he helped me through the process. His help was beyond expectations--he called the travel agent to straighten out the situation, he talked by phone with the doctors nurse to correct my wrong answer. I would recommend your company to all my friends. Thank you for your help.

    My claim was handled efficiently. I was able to realize the entire amount I was entitled to. No additional follow-up was needed from the documentation i originally submitted. I was pleasantly surprised because I was anticipating a more difficult process.

    Upon arriving at one of several destinations scheduled during my trip, I realized I was in urgent need of a doctor's care. While waiting for my rental car, I called the Customer Service number to determine how to proceed. The agent was extremely helpful and expressed genuine sympathy toward my condition - I could barely speak at that point. She asked me to hold for a moment while she checked my policy. When she came back on the line, and it was just a moment, she told me my policy would cover whatever care I needed and that a claim form would be sent to my email for reimbursement.. She asked if she could help in any other way, and closed the call with, "I hope you feel better soon and can enjoy the rest of your trip."

    As a result of my experience, I would highly recommend Tin Leg to any traveler and, in fact, already have. I plan on using the company every time I travel. When you've found the best, no need to keep searching. Thank you for an exceptional experience! Cynthia

    I had to cancel a trip because of a family medical situation. The claim was handled promptly and professionally. I was very impressed with the customer service I received. My advice to anyone who may need to make a claim, make sure you have impeccable documentation of everything and you shouldn't have a problem.
