    Still awaiting response on claim. Sent via registered mail all doc they required but got request to send ones already sent. Appears Global just sent out standard request without looking at sent docs. I have yet to hear from Holland America as to what amount of credit they will give. So hope this is reason I have heard nothing from insurance request. I gave the low rates for service because I could not reach a "human" to explain details, all claims are handled via email.

    I hold your 800 phone for a long time. Even I left my phone number and call back was the following day. Your service rep is not familiar the coverage function which is covered and which not covered and finally asked me to call insurance company to confirm. I wonder how much knowledge your service rep has.

    I am waiting for paid invoices to file my claim. Unfortunately I got Covid while in Italy and had to come home so my trip was interrupted and I could not complete my stay.

    When I first started filling out the form, I wasn’t able to save the first page of the form (before the attachments), so I had to retype all of my information. I was filling out the claim form from an iPad and I kept getting error messages when trying to upload some of the documents. It was very frustrating to have to keep retyping the information and re-uploading the documents. After several failed attempts to save the draft and upload documents, I had to use my husband’s Mac to upload the information. You will see that I still have a draft submission, but I wasn’t able to delete it.

    One minor additional point: I couldn’t figure out how to call customer service collect from Italy, so I had to pay for the call.

    It was a bit difficult to provide the level of details needed and some of the information was asked for repeatedly but overall the process was smooth and our personal rep was excellent. Had we not kept as detailed records as we did we would not have gotten our claim accepted. Still easier to collect from Allianz than from British Airways!

    I got Covid & they found 3 doctor offices for me. It was the weekend & the offices weren’t open. They should have known that Scotland has a ‘test & treat’ policy, whereby pharmacists can treat Covid patients. However, I tried that & im not sure how widespread that information is because the pharmacy I tried did not!
