    Filing the claim was simple. My only issue was that I waited for two weeks after filing a claim to get an update, and got none until I called.
    Email went unanswered. However, once I phoned in I was able to get an update in short order.
    Overall, a positive experience.

    The trip we insured was cancelled by the cruise company, Crystal. I called RoamRight about this, but they would not refund my payment of about $1600.00. However, I did receive confirmation that I could use that credit for insurance on a future trip, which will work well for us. They were very accommodating about the cancellation.

    Well...other than taking out the insurance and paying for it, I cannot comment at this time until I file the claim and see how that goes. The insurance you offer is secondary to my other insurance so I am waiting for a form from Medicare to file a claim with them, which will be denied, then filing a claim with Premera and after they do something then I will file with you if there is any balance owing. Then I can probably tell you about my experience with your company.

    A year ago I purchased the insurance. The representative was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered my questions in a friendly manner. I would purchase the insurance again. Thankfully, there were no issues on my trip so I do not need to make a claim.

    they seemed fine, My Mom passed away, so had to cancel the trip. Waiting for the death certificate so I can file. I assume there will be no problem . . .

    I injured my back a few months prior to our planned guided kayaking and cultural trip to Bhutan. Arch RoamRight reimbursed my spouse and I the full amount we insured ourselves for. We were so thankful that we had purchased this insurance!

    I am still waiting for information regarding my claim. I sent in VERY WELL documented information, but never seem to get past the process of Roam Right receiving my information and providing the name of my claims agent. I sent her an email asking what my claim status was, but never received a reply. I keep hearing reps say they have lots of claims right now because of the Florida Panhandle hurricane. I could understand that if Roam Right was a homeowners insurance company, but it's a travel insurance company. As far as there being numerous claims for canceled flights, I do not believe it. Airlines do not penalize customers impacted by extreme weather that grounds their flights. Also, what kind of traveler takes out trip insurance for 2-3 flights in the USA? What tremendous volume of claims are they talking about???

    We received your claim on October 16 and are reviewing claims in the order in which we received them. Due to a high volume of claims as a result of the recent hurricanes, we are asking for your patience during this process.

    When a hurricane threatens – and ultimately impacts – popular domestic tourist destinations such as the Florida coast, Florida panhandle, and the Carolinas, there is great impact on travelers and their plans.

    Every day, thousands of savvy travelers help protect their domestic travel plans by purchasing travel insurance for their flights and other travel accommodations.

    As a result of hurricanes Florence and Michael, thousands of flights were cancelled and many more were delayed. While some airlines may have policies in place for their travelers when severe weather cancels or delays their flight, this may not be the case for every traveler.

    Though the airline’s cancellation policy may allow for a refund, travelers often have other accommodations that are non-refundable. Some travelers may even have already been on their trip and had to evacuate due to the impending weather. There are a number of other claimable events that can be caused by a severe hurricane.

    These hurricane related claims also only add to the number of other claims filed by travelers who had their travel plans impacted for reasons outside of the scope of the storm.
