My experience with the John Hancock customer service agent was great, she walked us thru the sign-up for insurance and explained everything well. i would recommend this company to traveler who need insurance.

Having this insurance gave my wife and I such a level security
That we didn't hesitate doing anytging on our trip . We were in Europe for three weeks the peace it gave us is uncalcuable

I did not file a claim on this policy. However, I bought a second policy to cover my daughter and son-in-law, who were going on the same trip. We did have to file a claim on that policy (because of a medical emergency) for them and the claim was handle promptly and very satisfactorily. We were pleased with the service.

I was told about a two week processing time. It took about three. Not a big issue, but they could have reached out to me about the delay. I called once and emailed them twice.
Overall, I gave them 4 stars because they did not keep me informed. The claim was for the amount I was expectimg which was in 5 figures.
